The Five Gaiter, a Saddlebred Stallion, was introduced in about 1961 and sculpted by Chris Hess. With a round “Breyer Molding Co” with the added “USA” (used starting in 1971), models released from 1961 through the 1970s had a tassle of ribbon over the forelock and over the top of the off-side mane (this was removed from the mold about 1978). Mold # 52, sorrel color with a bald face, charcoal brown mane and tail, white stockings and white ribbon with red crisscrosses. This model is in very good condition with some light wear marks on the finish on the right side. C 1970s, measures 11 inches long x 9 ½ inches high x 3 inches wide.
