Alexis Kirk started designing jewelry in the 1960s out of small studio in Newport, Tennessee and over the next couple of decades ventured into apparel and accessories – well into the 1980s. He liked to design on a large scale, with striking shapes and materials which made a statement. This belt is a great example of his edgy appeal, wide with embossed croc leather and fully adjustable with the sliding design and buckle can be replaced/removed with 2 simple snaps, large gold stylized horseshoe buckle. Belt is in excellent vintage condition with light wear from use, gold-tone large buckle, side adjustment in back, dark brown leather. C1980s, belt measures 2 inches wide and 42 inches long, adjustable 36 ½ to 20 inches; buckle measures 4 ¼ x 3 inches.
