This Beautiful necktie is from the Yorktown Haberdashers, once located on West 50th St in New York City – also known as the House of Neckties – and founded in the late 1800s. Each tie was hand-loomed and designed and the most discriminating fellas would go there to be outfitted in the latest fashions. Though no longer around, their legacy can still be found in fabulous ties like this one. 100% silk in a rich rust color with a brushed diamond pattern on the body and intricate bridled horse head motif with a hunting whip at the tip of the tie. Excellent condition with a couple of small holes in the light-colored lining. Made in USA, c 1950s. Measures 49 inches long, 4 inches at wide at one end and 2 ½ at the other.
