American Artist David Pavlak is a master at realism, and his favorite subject is horses. In 1982 he started to exhibit equine art at the Collector’s Gallery in Lexington, and during the 1980s his focus was on commercial work for the racing industry. In 1992 he moved out to the country and set up a horse farm called Wakeshire Standardbreds and his art was put on hold while he managed over 105 horses and a complete breeding program. In the late 1990s he attempted to reignite his art career, but ended up working as an embryo transfer technician, which is what he does to this day. This giclee is is a limited edition, signed by the artist and numbered 143/1000, it illustrates a quiet moment at a Kentucky Farm with the hazy sun filtering on a grazing mare and her foal. Presented in gallery-quality custom matting and tiered cherry-wood frame under glass, this is truly a collectible piece for the equestrian home. C1980s, measures 27 ½ x 23 ½ inches
