These handsome pleated trousers were made by Glegarnock of Scotland, established in the 1990s as a uniform manufacturer for private and prestigious schools across the United Kingdom; soon the label was to be found in the best-known department stores such as Herrods and John Lewis. They also delved into the range of upmarket countrywear, was these burgundy plaid pants will attest. Glengarnock was absorbed into a larger conglomerate in 2005 and they did not keep the brand independent. Made from a polyester/wool blended fabric in burgundy/hunt green and navy these trousers are just the thing for your hunt-country lifestyle! Marked size is a 38” waist, made in Scotland, unlined, front slash hip pockets, 2 welt pockets back (one with button), relaxed leg, simple banded waist with belt loops, front zipper, button and hook, excellent almost-new condition, made in Scotland, c1990s.
