This beautifully-framed print depicts a Victorian fox hunting scene with a colorful field of crimson-coated huntsmen on their dapple grey, bay and sorrel-colored thoroughbreds foraging through brush and field in ever-pursuit for the elusive fox; the baying hunt hounds set the lead! Unknown artist but looks like Herring or an artist of that era. Presented in a black wood frame with gilded trim under glass with wide black mat with peacock red paper strip, interior gilded frame adds dimension. Excellent condition, c 1980s, could be a print from the Bombay Company although there are no labels. Measures 18 x 22 inches.
