So very little can be found about this artist, it could be that it was created it on a whim or for a weekend art class. Suffice it to say, the artist did a very good job and it is a shame we cannot find out if he/she did other works. We will just enjoy this piece for what it is, a lovely portrait of a crimson-coated hunter with his hunting hounds galloping in a field in full cry. This is an original oil on stretched canvas, presented in a rich cherry/brown wood frame (the frame is new) and in excellent condition. The texture and colors are magnificent and will look fabulous in your office or as the focal piece in your equestrian home. C 1960s, measures 39 ½ x 27 ½ inches.
