Vintage Faux Fur Cape Regina Glenara Taupe – 1960s

The Glenoit label on this retro-capelet comes from Glenoit Mills based in Raleigh, North Carolina. This label- established in 1960 - was known for their fabulous adaptation of synthetic furs, created in a process of over 7 stages to achieve the life-like look and feel of real fur. The mill sold these fabrics to manufacturers and Regina Glenara was a private label that disappeared in the 1970s-1980s, or was perhaps bought out by another label. This fabulous little short evening cape will look perfect with your tall riding boots and leggings for that sophisticated equestrian appeal. Champagne and blonde taupe tones with silver-fox-colored trim on cuffs and hem, open royal collar with side slit arm openings, open front, fleece-lined front slash pockets, silky floral-embossed lining, excellent condition. Inside label “Regina Glenara by Glenoit” , made in USA, no size marked but shoulders fit like a S/M. The following measurements were taken with the garment lying FLAT and recorded in inches, please be sure and DOUBLE the appropriate measurements: Shoulders: 16, chest: (open) 27 wide, length: 25
