This book was first published in 1924 and tells the story of Glenn Kilbourne, a US Army Veteran, who returns from the battlefields of World War I “Shell-shocked and gassed” and otherwise incapacitated, and is set in the American West in the 1920s. Zane Grey was best known for his popular adventure novels and stories associated with the American West. This is the last published edition in 1934 and is in good condition with the following notes: The cover has separated from the binding (not completely) and there is writing on the inside cover and inside cover page; the pages are all intact and in great condition with no rips or tears, 3 black and white illustrations, hardcover published by Grosset & Dunlap, New York, 291 pages, 1934.
