Beautifully framed young mistress with her fine thoroughbred tempting him with a freshly-picked carrot. Handsome profile and period dress, robust dark bay horse with alert expression, pastoral background. This looks to be a paper print that has been framed, the print is older than the frame c1940s, the frame is probably from the 1960s. Double mats, nice vintage frame in a dark brown color, presented under glass. No artist signature or other marks, frame is in good condition with some wear marks/nicks along the edges (the dark spot you see to the left is the shadow of the photographer). Measures 23 x 29 inches.
