This adorable little crib music box was made by Fisher Price in East Aurora, NY. Made of hard plastic this little pony plays Schubert’s Cradle song – “Lulla, Lullaby, Sleep my dear little baby, calm and peaceful by thy slumber, while I sing to thee” using a pull string – the string has some play in it and although the music box works it does not play the entire song – it may just need to be re-strung, something that looks fairly simple to do according to YouTube! There is a plastic strap on top and I assume this is the way it was hung on the crib, there is a buckle/closure missing. Colors are still vibrant, a lovely collector’s edition from 1968, made in USA. Measures 8 inches long x 7 inches tall x 2 inches wide.
