This collectible liquor decanter once held the finest Jim Beam Whiskey, and although emptied long ago the history of these decanters long out-lives any spirits they may have contained. Originally introduced in the 1960s as a way to sell more whiskey, Jim Beam soon found that their decanters took on a life of their own with clubs popping up all over the country to celebrate not only collecting but the company itself. This lovely Appaloosa was introduced in 1974, with horses being a main theme from the late 1960s thru the mid 1970s. Very good condition with one note: The cork stopper has broken and will either need to be replaced or removed. C1974, made in USA, measures 8 ½ inches long x 9 ½ inches high x 4 inches wide.
