The J.G. Hook clothing brand was founded in 1974 by Max Louis Raab, a clothing businessman and film producer (Clockwork Orange). In the 1950s Max and his brother were known as the prep-look kings, and the J.G. Hook line was meant to be a revival of the 1950s classic prep style. Nothing is more classic than the English fox hunt, beautifully illustrated on this 100% rayon twill vest, rich in the fall colors of taupe, brown and olive green with red-coated huntsmen. 5 button front placket, lined, pointed front tips, faux front welt pockets, adjustable buckle strap in back, nicely tailored, excellent condition. Marked J.G. Hook, size 12, made in the USA, c1980s. The following measurements were taken with the garment lying FLAT and recorded in inches, please be sure and DOUBLE the appropriate measurements: Shoulders: 14 ½, chest: 20, waist; 19 (unbuckled), length front: 24, length back: 20
