This fabulous equestrian tray is made of Imperial Melamine, a sturdy non-breakable-easy-to clean composite that looks like porcelain or other materials such as wood. SMIT of Guildford is a company that has been around since the 1940s in Surrey, Britain and trays like these were quite popular mid-century through the 1980s. Lovely photographic graphics of a dapple and black Percheron pair hard at work in the field. Plastic wicker trim and edge, excellent condition with original sticker on back, c1970s.
