Vintage Hunt Horn Bugle Horn Pocket Field Brass – 1940s

This fabulous little horn could have been used to call the hounds while the master was in the field, or perhaps for a training exercise. Its small shape definitely made it transportable for a multitude of uses in the field and is an interesting collector’s piece. Obviously missing a component – perhaps a rubber bulb or mouth piece attachment? It was found in the pocket of a hunt jacket from the 1940s so will assume it is from the same era, no marks or stamps, c1940s. Measures 5 ¾ inches long x 4 inches tall x 1 inch thick.
