American Artist Ruane Manning has been celebrated for his ability to inject life into his artwork through proper use of light, darks and minor details. Born in 1939, Ruane Manning still works out of his Lambert, New Jersey studio, painting as well as sculpting. These beautifully framed lithographs are a collection from the 1970s when he was visiting Kentucky and the thoroughbred racing scene. Sold as a set only, they are in very good condition with one note: The Grey horse print has a slight wave in it. White birch frames with gilded inside edge, presented under glass. C1970s, each measures 10 ½ x 8 ½ inches.
