The Dolls of All Nations were comprised of 15 dolls representing countries around the world, and they were manufactured and distributed by Dayton Hudson Corporation – founded in 1969 and the company that operates Target, Marshall Fields and the now defunked Mervyn stores. These dolls were sold through their Target stores in the 1990s and they are very collectible today. Our Equestrian is named Samantha and she is from England, complete with her tan breeches and red riding coat, white blouse with ratcatcher, black boots and wide-brimmed fashionable hat! In the original box and in excellent condition, she tells her story on the back of the box. There may have been a doll stand that came with her but that is not included. C1995, she measures 13 inches tall x 5 ½ inches wide x 2 inches deep. Box measures 15 ½ inches tall x 6 ¼ inches wide x 3 ¾ inches deep.
