There is not a lot that can be found about the Wales manufacturing label, but it hit its heyday in the 1940-1960s when Items from Japan were in high demand. This lovely pair of horse heads were produced in a glossy grey with white blaze face markings, intricate and sculptural detail make these a true work of art. Simple wire hook on back for wall mounting, both are in excellent condition with no marks or damage, both stamped Wales/Japan on back. Sold as a pair only, c1950s. Each measures 6 inches wide x 7 ½ inches tall x 4 ½ inches deep.
