Known the world over for their fabulous tea pots, Gibson & Sons also made fantastic mugs and other earthenware throughout their long history that began in 1885 and lasted through 1975. Egg-shell colored base with lovely scenes of steeple chase jockeys astride their brave horses after the elusive winner’s trophy! Helmet/Horn and buckled strap motif on opposite side. Gilded handles and rims/base, some of the gold has rubbed off so please look at the pictures carefully. Sold in a set only, marked Gibsons/Staffordshire England on bottom. No cracks or repairs, each measures 3 ¼ inches wide at top and 4 inches wide at bottom, 4 ¼ inches tall.
