Absolutely adorable little mare and her five frisky foals, each wisely attached by a delicate gold chain. White porcelain bisque with golden wash and brown-painted hooves, made in Japan with expert craftsmanship, an unusual find in this excellent condition. No labels other than Japan, c1950s. Mare measures 3 x 3 x 1 inch, foals measure 1 ½ x 1 ½ x ¾ inches.
