The Arabian Horse Owner’s Foundation out of Maryland created this benefit for their subscribers in 1970 from the thousands of photographs at the Arabian Horse Museum, particularly the W.R. Brown Memorial library. Consisting of 12 prints showcasing the famous Arabians that set the field for the modern bloodlines, each black and white photo comes with an information card detailing when they were foaled and other information on the prowess and influence over the Arabian breeding. The Arabian Horse Owner’s Foundation was founded in 1956 and is still going strong today albeit removed from their original location in Barnesville, MD – they are now located in Arizona. The pictures are all in very good condition with some random age spots on the edges; the folio cover is intact but has definite wear and some age spots. The horses showcased are: *Raffles, *Rizvan, Azrek, *Rodan, Balis & Belkis, Guemura, *Ghazala, *Aziza, *Berk, Onrust, *H.H. Mohamded Ali’s Hamama, Rasim, Each print measures 12 x 16 and are suitable for framing. c1970s.
