The luck of Black Diamond is one of five books in the original series that was published by Whitman between 1963 and 1964, and in this story club member Sunny is delighted when her uncle offers to rent her the horse Black Diamond to ride over the summer. Hardcover, 282 pages, published by Whitman Publishing Co in Racine, WI, c1963. Book is in excellent condition with the following notes: The 2nd page of the inside cover has been roughly torn out; the pages are somewhat yellow with age.
