Coopercraft dogs are highly collectible today and this little fella is no exception to the amazing detail and craftsmanship that went into the manufacture of these figurines. Originally named Summerbank Pottery in Tunstall c1952, with new owners in 1958 the name was changed to Coopercraft to celebrate the new directors, Irene & Frank Cooper. Dissolved in 2004, the Coopercraft dogs were manufactured in the 1960s and 1970s primarily and had oval stickers located on the near side of the body. Many have been lost of over the years, but this little fella has his still intact and is in excellent condition. Depicting a Cairn terrier with rich colors of brown/beige/black and detailed fur and facial expression. C1960s, measures 9 inches long x 3 ¼ inches wide x 7 ¼ inches tall.
