This tie has great retro-equestrian vibe with the hunting whips graphic throughout and hunter green color base. Regatta ties came onto the fashion scene in the 1950s and originally were made of wool with a constantly-tied knot fastened under the collar with a band or buckle. They made a variety of ties in their day and sporting prints were by far their best sellers. 100% polyester in a rich hunter green with white embroidered whips with orange chain details throughout, excellent condition. Labeled Regatta, c1970s. Measures 55 inches total length, 3 ¾ inches at widest point and 1 ¼ inches wide at the most narrow point.
