Artist Bruce White was commissioned by Applebees restaurant to create 1500 of these lovely carousel horses to be used in their restaurants throughout the country. This is Marlene and she was completed in 1999 and her serial # is 598. This was from an auction that the Tualatin Applebees in Oregon had in 2007 when they updated their restaurants, she is in fabulous shape with a powdered black iron post and simple base, made from fiberglass and hand painted in gold, lilac, green & red carousel colors. Signed/titled and dated on the underside, measures 49 ½ inches tall x 55 inches long x 18 inches wide. This will be shipped through a furniture moving company and placed on a pallet, they will not deliver it up any stairs but it is fairly light for you to move on your own once delivered.
