The Bandolino brand of footwear emerged in 1960, introduced by founders Marx & Newman Co based in New York and just a few short years later they acquired the U.S. Shoe Corporation, and soon the Bandolino brand was carried in high-end department stores like Nieman Marcus. Today the brand is still going strong and can be found in stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom, as well as online. These fabulous boots are from the 1990s when the hey-day of equestrian fashion was made popular by the likes of Elaine of Seinfeld Fame and J Peterman. Black and tan leather created in the hunt-boot style, perfect when paired with your favorite tweed jacket! Rubber composite sole, rounded toe, square stacked heel, elastic panel at top with full side zipper, fully lined, outside strap/buckle detail and top boot pulls. Very good condition with a couple of notes: there is a slight scrape on the right boot/top of the foot; there are a couple of pin-sized dark spots on the elastic of the left boot. Marked size 7M, Bandolino, C1990s.
Boots measure 9 inches inside toe to heel, 10 inches outside toe to heel, 3 ¼ inches wide at sole, 1 ½ inch heel, 16 inches tall, 11 inches circumference at ankle, 13 inches circumference at mid-calf, 15 inches circumference around top.
