What could be more precious than this little pair of Basset Hounds? Presented in fine bisque porcelain with a mat-finish, lovely expression and artful detail make these little guys works of art. Although the label is not complete, they are from Napco which stands for National Potteries Corporation based in Bedford, Ohio. Their most prolific output occurred in the 1950s and 1960s and so many of their figurines are highly collectible today. It is rare to find this piece numbered 1260 in pairs, and both are in excellent condition with one note: the pup has a small chip on his right front paw (See pics), c1950s. The larger pup measures 6 ½ L x 2W x 3 ½ T inches. The pup measures 5 ¼ L x 1 ½ W x 3T inches.
