Hirsch Tyler Company was started in the 1930s as uniform outfitters for the US Military, known for their quality manufacture and exacting tailoring. This handsome jacket would look superb with your breeches for a variant on hunt attire, or with a pencil skirt and high-collared blouse for a Victorian vibe. Issued by the United States Air Force, this jacket was designed as menswear, but has unisex appeal! Black poly/wool blend with brushed brass front double-buttons, fully lined, structured shoulders, nicely tailored, pointed tips, long narrow shawl collar, inside pockets. Inside labels read Hirsch Tyler Co, 30 June 1966, size 40L, for Cadet David Carpenter, excellent condition. The following measurements were taken with the garment lying FLAT and recorded in inches, please be sure and DOUBLE the appropriate measurements: Shoulders: 17 ½, chest: 20, waist: 17, length front: 23, length back: 22.
