Vintage Bridle Rosette Pair H.A. Chapman Horse Head on Green-1960s

Shipping to United States: Free

Beautiful pair of matching rosettes with the horses facing each other/facing front when worn on a bridle, hard to find! Though bridle rosettes have been around for at least 2000 years, they came into fashion during the Victorian era and were even turned into jewelry and accessories after they hey-day ended in the 1940s and 1950s. These rosettes were manufactured by the H.A. Chapman company based out of White Bear Lake, Minnesota who manufactured harness accessories from about the 1940s through 1994. Real glass dome with green foil back and dimensional chestnut horse head, tin (or aluminum?) base with leather keeper, stamped H.A. Chapman on back. A lovely set for your favorite bridle or they make a fabulous gift for the equestrian in your life. Each measure 1 ¾ round x 1 ¼ thick, inches.
