In 1893 William Britain Sr cracked the hollowcast Toy solider process and the rest, as they say, is history. As time marched on the plastic toy took over the hollowcast toys, and lovely metal toys like this handsome plow horse were not produced past 1966. Made in England, well-loved plow horse with horse collar and rigging detail, was probably once grey but most of the paint has been loved-off, very well preserved otherwise and a great addition to your collection. Stamped W Britain on the belly, excellent structural condition, c1940s. Measures 3 ½ x 2 ½ x ¾ inches.
