Made from solid walnut, this handsome pipe holder and porcelain humidor has equestrian appeal with a fox hunting theme. Stand can hold 6 pipes and the porcelain humidor is illustrated with a pair of field hunters on one side and a sly red fox on the other, gilded rim on top with a wooden lid and inserted water canister inside lid. Bottom has the Decatur Industries stamp – started in 1945 and based in Decatur, Indiana. They are no longer in business but are infamous for their walnut holders throughout the world. Excellent condition, c1960s. Base measures 11 ½ x 7 x 4 ¾ inches, tobacco humidor measures 4 ½ x 5 inches.
