This lamp is such an amazing work of art, from the beautifully illustrated cylinder base to the fish-bowl globe with a miniature Britains diorama inside. Truly spectacular for the equestrian enthusiast! Metal cylinder with gold base and gilded trim, illustrated with art nouveau fox hunters in rich colors and exceptional detail; topped by a clear glass globe containing Britains figurines – side saddle equestrienne, standing whipper and 2 hunting hounds. White pleated fabric shade, double bulb element with brass chain pulls, in excellent working condition, fabric cord. No marks or stamps, c1940s. Lamp measures 32 inches tall end to end, base is 6 inches wide and 14 inches around, globe is 11 inches tall x 25 ½ inches around.
