This iconic pair of Formally-dressed Foxes are familiar to those in the equestrian circles, created by Hanford’s Inc who was an exporter/importer out of Charlotte, NC in the 1980s and 1990s. These fab foxes came in various sizes from small, ornament size to these large almost-life size dolls. Heavily stuffed in a sitting position and covered in cotton fabric, attention was given to the white breeches and scarlet coats with brass buttons and black velvet collars; our lady fox has a black riding hat and lace-collared blouse, plaid riding skirt and faux leather black riding boots. Our gentleman fox has a white cotton shirt and the same faux black riding boots, although his coat is missing the top button. Both have plush faces and thick, plush tails. Tag is Hanford’s Inc , c1990s, sold as a pair only. Each measure 29 inches total length, sitting height is 19 inches, 9 inches wide.
