It is truly a shame that the tails on these horses have been broken, although it does not really take away from the intricate detail and artistic rendering of these metal horse and riders. Men are dressed in the riding attire of the 1930s: flare breeches, handsome riding jackets, smart Homburg hats, brown boots. The horse are turned out in English tack to fit the riders. Delicate wires for reins, riders are not removable from the horses, good condition other than the missing tails. Bronze and black colors, stamped “Made in USA” on bellies, c1930s. Each figurine measures 3 x 3 ½ x 1 ¼ inches, sold as a pair only.
