This brightly-colored sweater vest is the epitome of the Michael Simon signature style – hand loomed with straight lines, traditional old-stock yarn from the 1950s in bright neon colors and hand-beading details – each piece is truly a work of art. Now residing in the garment district of New York with a building full of sewers and knitters, this is a true success story of a very entrepreneurial ballet dancer! Black Raime/Cotton knit body, Bright colors of cobalt, purple, pink, red and green depict a cowboy on his rearing horse and a cowgirl on her bronc. Hand-beading on the collar and body, round buttons with green horseshoes/red rhinestones, red rope trim at arms and along front placket – the details are simply amazing. Unlined, excellent condition, made in Hong Kong, marked size is 2, c1990s.
