Royal Bayreuth is the name of a factory that was founded in Tettau, Bavaria in 1794, and fine porcelain pieces are still being manufactured there today. This fabulous and rare plate set is from approx. 1910-1920 and offers 2 images of a Victorian hunt; an elegant side-saddle rider in a late summer landscape with her 3 hunting hounds and an elegant pair of hunters in action with their 3 hunting hounds. Gilded edges, fine porcelain bisque, excellent condition. Soft and vivid colors, beautiful collector’s pieces that you will be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. Made in Bavaria, 1910-1920, sold as a pair only. Each measure 6 inches around.
