This lovely set is just the thing for your mid-day tea, and keeping with your English Hunt style! Lovely earthenware hand made in a rich chocolate color with mind green ribbon in center showing a hunter, hound and fox in dimensional relief. St includes a coffee/tea mug, creamer and small sugar bowl. The pottery at Denby was established in 1809 and was run by John & Joseph Bourne; this pottery company went through many acquisitions until their final stroke in 2009 when they were dissolved completely. This set is dated 1931-1938, excellent condition, marked Bourne Denby Derby on the bottom of each piece, sold as a set of 3 only. Mug measures 4 ¼ inches tall x 3 inches wide; creamer measures 3 inches tall x 3 ¼ inches wide; sugar bowl measures 2 ½ inches tall x 2 ½ inches wide.
