This stunning porcelain lamp has been retro-fitted for current use and I am certain the acrylic base is not original, but a lovely way to display; the gold fixture also looks newer as does the slip-on lamp shade. This is from the Edition D’Art Triage Reserve in Limoges, France and originally dates to the 1950s. Fine white porcelain shows a horse and carriage on front heading into the “Preserve” (Chasse Gardée) with some sort of farm machinery I am not familiar with on one side, a wheel and whip on the back side and a horse collar on the other short side. Gilded trim, very good condition. The rest of the stamp on the bottom reads Couleuvre en Páte Et Email De Limoges France. Cord is newer but plug looks to be the original, on/off switch on the cord, simple fabric linen shad that sets on the bulb, c1950s. Measures 6 inches long x 4 ½ inches wide x 12 ½ inches tall.
