Royal Bayreuth is the name of a factory that was founded in Tettau, Bavaria in 1794, and fine porcelain pieces are still being manufactured there today. This unique –style ashtray was quite the rage in the Victorian era, ball-shaped with a divet for your cigarette on top and a hole for your ashes. Vibrant fall colors of the hunt showcase a lovely sidesaddle rider meeting up with a couple out for a stroll. Excellent condition, marked Royal Bayreuth on bottom, c1920s. Measures 3 ½ inches wide/deep and 3 inches tall.
