Adorable pair of red-capped riders so well turned out for the ride with their white shirts and breeches, and black boots and tie. Hand painted details on the horses who are two-toned brown, and the narrow oval base has lovely green hand painted flora – is that perhaps a cannabis leaf under the rider? Excellent condition, sold as a pair only, stamped Staffordshire made in England on the bottom, c1950s. Each measure 8 ½ inches long x 8 inches tall x 2 inches wide.
