Fabulous desk décor with a vibrant equestrian theme, cute little caddy for pens or coins, toothpicks or whatever else needs a little organization. The Prov.Saxe stamp was used by Erdmann Schlegelmilch Porcelain Factory who was in business in Suhl, Thuringia, Germany from 1861 – 1937. White porcelain in a narrow oval shape with cobalt top trim, Victorian hunt scene with red-coated riders celebrating the hunt on front, stamped Prov. Saxe ES Germany on bottom, very good condition with one note: There is a small surface crack on the side (does not go thru so just on the surface), c1930s. Measures 2 ½ long x 2 ½ tall x 1 ¼ inch wide.
