Beautifully illustrated teapot is sure to add equestrian charm to your home. Fine porcelain with gilded trim and removable lid, stout round shape and nice weight; brightly colored illustration of fox hunters and their hounds on each side, hand-painted detail in the blue sky and green leaves. Excellent condition, bottom is stamped Sadler England – a pottery company that was founded in 1882 in Stoke-on-Trent England and became quite famous for their teapots in particular, c1940s. Measures 5 inches tall x 9 inches long x 5 ½ inches wide.
