The Tuscan works at Longston was founded in 1898 and continued viable through 1966 when they were acquired by Wedgewood. The stamp found on this lovely covered trinket dish was first seen in 1947, dating this particular dish to the early 1950s. Fine white porcelain box is illustrated with a handsome hunter and his founds on the top, equestrian details on the long sides, gilded gold rim and trim, excellent condition, stamped Tuscan Fine English Bone China Made in England on bottom. Measures 4 ½ inches long x 3 ¾ inches wide x 1 ½ inches tall.
