A fine-artist by career, London-based Susan L Richardson delved into Jewelry design in the 1990s and created some fascinating pieces such as this beautiful equestrian brooch. Made from a composite of mixed metals, 3 handsome horses gallop across the top of an oval-shaped silver pin with a vintage brass hunting horn attached to the mid-bottom. A really lovely piece that celebrates this artist as well as her eye for the equestrian style. Composite metal, marked Susan L Richardson 1994 on the back, excellent condition with a simple dial closure in the back/straight pin. Measures 3 inches long x 2 inches tall x ¼ inch thick.
