These fabulous breeches are from a different time when tiny waists were accentuated with flared legs and fitted calves. This type of riding pant, or breech, was quite popular from the 1920s to 1950s as was part of every equestrienne’s riding apparel. Wool blend black fabric has slight give (but not a lot), high waist with interior button and side zip, unbanded waist with belt loops, unlined, side slant pockets, leather tonal knee patches, cuffed legs with stirrup straps. Excellent condition, label is Christenfeld Riding Apparel (An England-based riding apparel company), no marked size but these are XS, please see measurements -c1940s. The following measurements were taken with the garment lying FLAT and recorded in inches, please be sure and DOUBLE the appropriate measurements: Waist: 10 ½, hips: 18, rise: 13, inseam: 29 ½
