This stunning pair of bridle rosettes dates to 1909 and was part of the collection by Wilson’s Crystal Rosettes; they can be found in the book Bridle Rosettes by E Helene Sage on page 130. They most-likely once adorned a driving horse bridle as was such the style in the late Victorian era. Glass dome on a brass holder, silver background, English rider in blue hacking coat, breeches and boots on a chestnut horse. Very good condition with one note: There is a pock mark on the glass of the right-facing rider. In very usable condition and rare to find a matched pair. Each measure 1 ¾ inches wide x ½ inch deep.
