Fine arts painter Larry Toshick (1922-2012) specialized in Western desert wildlife art and spent most of his life ln Arizona, with plentiful inspiration for his stunning works of art. This signed lithograph is titled “The Rock that Moved” and shows a portrait of a desert fox startled by a tortoise that moved in the arid landscape. The desert colors of this print are lovely and muted, signed in pencil by the artist, it was originally painted in 1975. Presented under glass with a simple oak wood frame and double mats in cream and tan, the print is in excellent condition but there is some water stain on the lower right side of the mat. This lithograph dates from the 1970s and measures 19 x 25 inches.
