This horse bridle came from an estate of an equiestrienne who was a fox hunter in the 1930s, and this was most likely a bridle from one of her 2 handsome horses. The design is brilliant, with a single strap connecting both ends of the bit and a single buckle up top near the poll – meaning this can be easily adjust up or down with little effort to fit multiple horse sizes. Chestnut colored leather with simple browband, single strap construction, loose ring snaffle bit and tied reins. Very good condition for the age and completely usable, no marks or stamps, c1930s. Fully adjust able, headstall strap with is ¾ inch wide, browband measures 15 inches, steel bit measures 6 inches.
