This kitschy pair of wall-mounted lamps were once hard-wired into a house, they have been rewired to allow for their removal and continued use. Rich brown hardwood base with an extended arm that holds 2 sockets with faux candle-taper detail and texture. Small parchment lamp shades slide onto the bulb and the lightened image is so quaint with a small square cut out from each shade to show the light from the Inn. Threaded rope detail trims the shade with a lovely image of fox hunters in a village square at dusk. Simple loop hangers on back, golden electrical cords are long enough to reach the ground, excellent condition and in perfect working order. No marks or stamps, sold as a pair only, c1950s. Wood base measures 9 inches tall x 9 inches wide x 5 inches deep; shades measure 5 inches tall x 5 ¼ inches wide at bottom and 3 ¼ inches wide at top.
