This handsome jar may have been used to store mead, wine or some other liquid with alcohol content as it would make a lovely decanter. Clear class in a bee hive shape with painted red rings – 3 across the top and 3 across the bottom - and a simple black silhouette of a huntsman and his hounds. Removable hammered metal lid with cork insert and diffuser-style bottom and wide red trim at top. Excellent condition, no marks or stamps, c1930s. Measures 8 ½ inches tall x 6 inches wide x 20 ½ inch circumference.
